Major life events happen and derail our daily routines: a child’s birth, a death in the family, recovery from an illness, medical treatments, and/or recovery from an injury or a medical procedure. These things can make it difficult for us to care for ourselves in the ways that we usually would.
That’s why our “Keep in Touch” (KIT) Committee offers you help: our Meal Ministry.
This caring ministry is intended to be short-term (2-3 weeks) to help the member and their family by relieving them of the worry of cooking, meal planning, and grocery shopping.
If the meal ministry can help you (or you know of a church member it could help), please contact the church office at 610-398-2577 or info@asburylv.org. Members requesting meals will be asked for food preferences/allergies, number of meals needed and how often, and contact information. Volunteers are ready to prepare the meals and deliver them to your home!
