Care Ministries at Asbury Church offer encouragement, support and prayer to individuals in our church family who are at various stages, places and circumstances of life. The purpose of the Care Team is to respond to the spiritual, emotional, physical, and relational needs of our congregation and to engage the congregation in service and community for one another. We have a network of people who are dedicated to being the hands and feet of Christ. To receive care from our team, please contact the church office at 610-398-2577 or info@asburylv.org.
Visitation Ministry
The Keep in Touch (KIT) lay ministry team provides a ministry of presence and care for Asbury members who are in hospitals or confined to their homes or retirement communities as a reminder of God’s love and their connection with their church community. Please contact the church office if you or a family member desire a visit (including administration of the sacrament of Holy Communion if desired) from the Keep in Touch team. (Please note: If you would like a visit during your hospital stay, ask the hospital staff to add that request to your registration information when you are admitted, or have someone call the church office so we know where/how to reach you).

Bereavement Ministry
Our bereavement ministry, led by our Pastor of Bereavement and Care Ministries, offers multiple types of grief support for those grieving the death of a loved one: individual support, monthly grief support group, literature and other resources, special seasonal worship services of remembrance, comfort and hope. (Learn more about the grief group at asburylv.org/griefsupport)
Additionally, our funeral luncheon committee, upon request of the family, may be able to provide a reception following a funeral/memorial service. Please contact the church office if we can assist you in any way following a loss in your life.

Health Ministry
The mission of Asbury’s Health Ministry is to integrate health and faith through encouraging individuals to live healthier lives. We attempt to guide personal health through education, published health tips and referrals to community resources. We offer health screenings, monthly blood pressure screenings, organize blood drives, and maintain safety kits for travel and all classrooms. Anyone can be a part of this Ministry – you do not need to have a medical background.
