Rev. Steven C. Morton is entering retirement this year after 40 years in ministry in the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference of the United Methodist Church. Steve most recently served as the Conference’s Leadership Development Manager, but previously served as the Superintendent of the North District (2018 – 2022) and was the long-time pastor of Hopewell UMC, a congregation he served for 21 years.
Steve’s passion remains the empowerment of laity and the encouragement of pastors. He and his wife Joan spend time between homes in Chester County and the Poconos, and enjoy spending time with their granddaughter, attending Phillies games, visiting wineries & Williamsburg, and taking walks in the woods.
