The Asbury Men’s Social Group will have a private tour, The Rise and Fall of Bethlehem Steel, at 10 AM on July 14 (rain date July 15, also 10 AM). The tour will be led by John Landis a docent and Asbury member.
To register: call Historic Bethlehem Visitors Center, stating that you are with Asbury Men and want to register for the tour. Cost is $15 payable by credit card over the phone. Tour is limited to 20 guests.
Meet at the Visitors Offices at Steel Stacks, which is between the parking lot and the Mack Food stand to the left of the Levitt Pavilion by the blast furnaces. Anyone wishing to carpool should be at the Asbury rear parking lot by 9 AM. Note: if it rains both days, the tour will be postponed and the group will instead meet at 10 AM on July 15 at the National Museum of Industrial History by the same parking lot (again, meet at Asbury by 9 AM if you wish to carpool). Cost for the alternative trip is $7 payable at the door.
