The Reverend Dr. Grace Ji-Sun Kim was born in Korea, educated in Canada, and now teaches in the United States as professor of theology at Earlham School of Religion. She is the author or editor of 26 books. She will be making a presentation on her latest book “When God Became White.”
Bishop Cynthia Moore-Koikoi was elected as a bishop of The United Methodist Church by delegates to the 2016 Northeastern Jurisdictional Conference, meeting in Lancaster, PA. She began her assignment to lead United Methodists in Western Pennsylvania on September 1, 2016. She currently serves as resident bishop for two conferences: Eastern Pennsylvania and Greater New Jersey. Join us as we discuss with her the state of the UMC.
Rabbi Shoshanah Tornberg, RJE was ordained at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion (HUC-JIR) in New York in 2006. A lifelong Jewish educator, Rabbi Shoshanah has served communities in Steubenville, OH, Tustin, CA, Brooklyn, NY, Albany, NY, Sacramento, CA, and the Philadelphia area. She is currently the Rabbi at Congregation Keneseth Israel in Allentown. Join us as Rabbi Shoshanah helps us gain a better understanding of Judaism.
