The Bible foretells a day when the end will come. In every generation, people have seen signs and wondered if the end is near. What do these scriptures mean? Should we be afraid? Are we living in the last days? In this series we will explore what the Bible says about the end of the world and Christ’s second coming.
Although the disciples wanted to know "when" Jesus would return, he made it clear that" "when" wasn't the important issue. Jesus says in Matthew 24:44 “Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an unexpected hour.”
What does it mean to be ready? Jesus answers that question in the very next chapter with three parables. To be ready means that we put our trust in Jesus Christ as our savior and Lord, using well the gifts that God has given us, and then being his hands and voice, and taking care of people in need. So are you ready?
