Between boxes of chocolates, favorite flowers, and all manner of heart shaped confections in the wake of Valentine’s Day, we reflect upon the import of love and faith. The Lord reminds us to mirror his heart. The Christian call is an expansive one, challenging us to serve selflessly, to lead in new and difficult circumstances, and to love boldly. Let us love others then and seek God’s Kingdom on earth.

Who doesn’t love it when good things happen? Such gifts from God are treasured things. However, there can be a real temptation to fall into apathy or inactivity. Instead, let us use the blessings given to us as motivation to bless others. Let us turn to the Scriptures and see how God calls us to act in love and faith to others.
