Resilience is a trait that allows us to muster up courage and strength to push through difficult times in many situations in life, including our relationships with family, friends, and other loved ones. Evaluating this important characteristic and how to build it into ourselves and into our relationships is vital to our growth and health.
Asbury will be offering a three hour workshop exploring relationships on Saturday, February 23, 2019 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon (doors open at 8:30 a.m.). Participants will explore the role of resiliency, attachment styles, stress, community, and conflict resolution in relationships. In a seminar for couples, singles, divorcees . . .really anyone, Rachel Starmer, M.A.C.C. and Asbury’s Director of Congregational Care, Bill Arnold, M.Div./M.A.C.C./CSA will provide tools for understanding, exploring, and improving relationships with others.
Registrations are required with a twenty-dollar ($20.00) registration fee per person due by Tuesday, February 19, 2019. To register, please email Bill Arnold at firstname.lastname@example.org and mail a check made out to “Asbury UMC” (with “Relationship Seminar” in memo line) to 1533 Springhouse Rd., Allentown, PA 18104.
